so yeah i drove my friends mx-3 today its a decent car the suspension is very stiff it felt ok. man, the acceleration was just horible never take horsepower figures for granted. the mx-3 is rated for 105 horsepower and the 4age is around the same but man the 4age accelerates soooo much faster

4A-GE is around 124-131hp

140hp if you have a MAP Sensored small port... I'm thinking of converting.

well i have the big port and i was reading that it was around 115-120 stock and that it probally went down a little cause of old age. yeah i dont have the map one i have the afm. yeah i was thinking those small ports are much nicer they also take premium what kinda gas does the japanese one take?

112hp is the stock 85/86 some 87 bigports....... and that's flywheel hp

however, toyota DID underrate them power wise..... my friends bone stock (enginewise) mr2 (89) dyno'd 106whp with massive oil leaks/burning oil and a dirty dirty dirty air filter.
