toy corrolla, All trac

Only plug was still in so my first guess was wrong

Could i drop a 1994 engine into it
I was going to take an engine from a wrecked toy corralla 1994 but it was an automatic and mine is a standard. Is it a pain to switch it. tell me what you need for info and ill try to get it for you

those splatter marks look like a thrown rod to me.... that is, if it made it through the block

I'm with you on that.... It looks (and sounds) reminescent of when my '96 4Runner 5VZ-FE threw a rod.

if a rod broke and went though the block, then yes..... at the VERY least you need a new shortblock (the lower 1/2 of the motor, essentially) and all of the gaskets required to swap it out.

Doesn't make the slightest difference... it just means you have to swap your flywheel over to the other engine. ~5 minutes max.
