91 i can't tell you as much on... im better with 93-97's

the difficult highlights will be.......
-Clutch pedal, and hydraulic system
-Wiring (on 93-97's its a completely different engine harness and ECU)
-finding all the parts
-drilling the firewall for the clutch

anyways thats what i have to add

The list of parts you need is pretty long

-gearbox
-axels
-fly wheel
-clutch
-brake and clutch pedal
-master and slave cylinders
-shiter and cables
-interior trim & center console

It would be alot easier if you could pick up a manual version of your car for cheap (crashed or with a blown motor) because that would be easier and probably cheaper than getting the parts individually.

Not to sure on the wiring for UDM models but on our cars it really easy there are 2 plugsgoing to the gearbox, a speed sensor on which the plug is the same, and another one so you find the two start inhibitor wires in this plug which will convice the car its in park

I have a friend at a local bone yard that I can get the whole conversion for $350. this inclueds tranny, cluchcable, pedales, axles and afew other things I can't think of now...

I'm thinking that all I have to do is change the inhibitor and wire in a neutral saftey switch relay?

Here's my list:

Auto/manual conversion checklist:

Manual tranny
Flywheel and bolts
Clutch kit (and pressure plate bolts)
Driver's side mount for manual
Shifter assembly
Shifter cables
Clutch pedal assembly
Brake pedal (or grind down your stock one)
Clutch master cylinder
Clutch slave cylinder (if not included with tranny)
Clutch lines
Manual ECU or wire in resistor box for the auto ECU ('96 and newer (OBDII) only)

On the AE92 it's pretty easy. THe stock axles work, the hardest part is swapping the tranny out and drilling the master cylinder hole. With the wiring, all you need to do is run the wires that used to go to the neutral start switch to the clutch start switch on the clutch pedal.

For a clutch kit? The exedy stage 1 is nice, as well as the TRD part which is a little more expensive. They're around $350.
