How do you keep your car clean in the winter?

Any preference on car washes?
I would only take my car to a touchless, but I am wondering if even some of those can do damage.

hell yeah!! every Sat. morning if not raining. Gotta dry quick though, ecspecially on the freezing days.

i go to touchless washes since they seem to do an ok job on the underside of the car...apart from that...touchless is really...touchless...no dirt or grime really gets off the car.

take it to the coin wash once a week or two just to keep the salt off. and yeah...dry quickly as you don't want it to freeze.

those of you in toronto, looking to do a self cleaning inside, the Esso at Steeles and Yonge is not bad. you drive into the garage, into an available cleaning bay and do your thing there where it is heated and comfortable. they do charge 30 cents a minute...and it does add up, but at least you won't freeze your ass off. if you know of other places, please post up the locations.

park it in garage all winter...lol..so happy my baby doesn't see salt and snow....as for my civic....it takes a beating and keeps on ticking....

well I have a problem. There is a 1979 firebird in out garage lol and I only have my corolla :p

I wash mine once a week or every other week at least... I take the skirts off too on the 89 that way no salt is left just sitting there.

I get out a bucket full of soapy water and a terry rag, just like I do in summer.

I wash my cars about 5 times a week in winter..Uusually everday except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

My neighbors all look at me like im crazy, they think washing once a week is over doing it..
There all like man your going to rub the clear right off its not like im polishing it.

I don't think you would be able to do that here in Toronto, hence the reason for the Canadian flag in the title.

They are all over the place, I just cant remember the exact locations, one on Kennedy... I think near lawrnece.

But the one you mentioned previously that is heated sounds cool, a little expense but probably worth it.
