AE92 Do I need new springs?

The rear shocks on my AE92 are busted. When I press down on the car, it feels pretty soft and the car bounces several times before it comes to a standstill. I'm getting some new shocks but will that have a significant impact on the stiffness of the ride? Should I replace the springs as well? Thanks in advance for the feedback on this.

Well you probably don't have to.. but think of it this way, you might as well do it to avoid paying twice for the same job.

My Geo Prizm was like that, kicked ass if you gassed it over big bumps hahahahaa

I say do it. Springs are cheap, and if you have everything apart already...

They sell a complete assembly (strut/spring/upper bearing mount) that is pre-assembled as a unit. Would probably be cheaper than buying all pieces separately .
