20v ==> Ae-102

getting tired of the 7A-FE's crap.

i am contemplating doing a swap to the 20V silvertop. Just had a couple questions regarding it.

1. How bad is the wiring assuming ive got a good engine harness and computer
2. How difficult is it to hook up the power steering and a/c
3. How difficult is it to get stuff like seals, gaskets, belts, waterpumps in canada
4. Providing i do it ALL myself how much should i plan on spending beyond the cost of the engine, trans, harness, and computer....

Thanks for any help you guys can provide..

Get ryan (kpsyxtyone) to do the harness, all you have to do is get the motor installed and hooked up. I believe he charges $400-500 for his harness work.

1. It's a lot of work, but I can do it for you for $350. I've swapped 3 or 4 silvertops now... lost track
2. Easy, most auto stores can make you custom ones, they're not too bad of a price either.
3. A lot of stuff is shared with the 16v, what isn't can be sourced from Champion Toyota in Texas, they can get all the 20v parts you need.
4. About $500.
