also...if there not factor tires i would go by what the tire says it should say some where on the wall of the tire..around th 30+ psi mark
That's the max pressure you can safely inflate the tires to before it blows off the rim, not the pressure to run normally in the tire. You can generally inflate a bit to seat the bead, but then it needs to be lowered once it's seated.

For most cars, the pressure is around 30PSI. And yes, I mean cars, not trucks, suv, minivan etc. My truck at work has 80 PSI in the tires and HUMVEEs get 20 or 25 PSI IIRC.
im surprised no one said this yet, but its 30+ psi COLD!! dont forget, tire psi increases when you drive, so dont check it untill you left it parked for a couple hours, if i remember correctly, when i checked my tire pressure when it was hot, i was around the 40+ psi mark, and around 32+ psi cold
