need quick help! brake problem
hey all. i have a 1999 corolla LE. my starter died on me recently and i just finished replacing it with a new one. during the procedure i had to remove the throttle body, intake manifold and old starter. i got everything back on and started up the car and it worked. however under the test drive my brake pedal was incredibly stiff AND the brakes didnt seem like it was working. it felt like the car had no brakes to begin with. so i got the car up and had my pops help me bleed the brakes thinking i got air into the lines somehow but it didnt solve the problem.
i had to remove 2 air hoses from the intake manifold in order to remove it from the engine bay. one hose looked like it was connected the the brake system somehow. could something wrong gone there? is there any power for the brakes? i dont think there is since I don't have ABS and my pops told me its a manual brake system not powered. thanks for the help
