Unhappy Electrical problems

I have yet ANOTHER issue going on. My car doesn't have the best battery, but it will completely drain itself of power. It wont even beep in the ON key posistion. It happened twice so far. Does anyone know if it's just my battery? Or something else? I must say I'm slightly worried it might be a bad ground. I dont wanna fight trying to find it.

How old is the battery? maybe its time to change it if it keeps discharging. Also look for any lights that stay on as you could have a bad wire somewhere (interior lights, trunk light, etc.)

Have your alternator checked as it might not be charging your battery correctly thus killing a cell in it and keeping it from holding a charge.

My battery is fairly old, but I've never even had trouble starting it until a couple of days ago.
And yes I hav a Kenwood 200W CD deck, but how could it matter? Seems to me the alternator was replaced not too long ago.

well there is always the possibility that before your alternator went out the first time it put undue stress on your battery that has led to it's shortened life. Usually when you replace an alternator u should put in a new battery

OH, well I was looking at it today and I think its the battery. But on a more important note, my frame is cracked near the control arm, so thats 250$ and I got an estimate for bodywork so I can pass safety, and that was around 500$. I dont know what to do with the fuckin thing

I posted this separately. You wouldn't know that the front light were on because each time when I went to my car in the morning they were off. The light switch was off as well.

I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla. The warranty went out in August 2005. About two months ago, a neighbor of mine called me in the morning telling me that my lights were on. When I went to the car the lights were already off but the battery was dead. I replaced a battery and, thinking that I caused the problem, I checked everything really carefully the following evening. I even went to the car a few hours later and everything seemed fine. The next morning I experienced the same problem.

Then it was fine for over a month and then it happened again two days in a row. I thought that it was the faulty Twilight Sentinnel which was turning my headlights on at night. I called the dealership and was told that they had no idea what the problem could be. I called the Toyota company I got the same answer. I did some research on the internet and learned that it could be related to the DRL, therefore I disabled them by moving up the manual break by one notch. A week ago it happened again. And worked fine for about a week.

Because I have no idea what triggers it, I check on the car several times in the evening and I wake up early in the mornings to make sure that I would be able to get to work on time.

It happened this morning again. What is weird, as soon the engine was jumped, the lights went on (this time front and back) and there is no way to turn them off. I left the car running for about one hour.

About a week ago I called a mechanic who told me that he didn’t know what was the problem and he couldn’t check it because he would have to do it when it happens and since it is happening on the irregular basis he couldn’t do it.
