Need some ae86 info...

I guess initial d sparked something in me, cuz I wanna learn more of the ae86. It's definatly different from many others, but Id like to learn more of the cars that started it. Is there a good web where it shows of the differnt models taht made up the ae86...cuz I just went searching and some looked like old celicas, others looked like old corollas...and some just had different names that i've never heard of. I did a search of the ae86 in this forum but the threads taht I found didn't provide the foundation or basics of this car, it was a bit technical. of course I would welcome anyone just explaining it to me...thanks alot in advance.

www.twelve100.com
this site is a forum for 4AGE owners, (4AGE is type of engine in AE86)
so that site is mainly for AE86 or the AE92...this site covers all of Toyota...so for specific info...i advise you to check out 4AG club

edit: read all the reference....or FAQ....that will give alot of general idea about the car

thanks alot guys. that site is really cool.

I just started driving about 5 months ago. I got a volvo 240 dl wagon from 1987 and I recently got a rsx type s. thanks agian for the info.

what's wrong with initial d? I think the animation is mo awesome...cars are pretty cool. Where does everyone get them anyway? I think i should definatly get the dvd. the dl just plain suck ass.

yeah i like initial D too (only the anime not the comic, faces are too ugly in the comic book, i can't quite accept it), people like to watch under dog win....

but i think AE86 can only beat R33 in cartoon.....and i think it is impossible not to spill out any water from the cup even if you are driving straight (unless japan government pave their roads every year)

I think he said he wanted to learn about the AE86... i don't think he wants go buy one... or at least he didn't say he wants to buy one in his post...

Man... if i had the RSX Type-S... i'd be so happy... wouldn'e even think twice about selling the Rustbucket...
