I have no lights below the radio in the central part of my dash - no fan light, no climate control light, no PRNDL light at the shifter. The "AC on" light DOES work. Is there a single point for all of these to fail, like a plug or a fuse? Or could they all be burnt out?
I just bought the car and discovered they don't work. The other dash lights all seem to be ok. Any help would be appreciated.
Well, couldn't find a bad fuse in the firewall or under the hood, and I agree that it's unlikely that all those lights would go bad. Does anyone know if there's a fuse somewhere else that could be involved, or a plug that could be loose, like maybe behind the radio?
well i was talkin about a 88 sr5 but o well gues il have to do something bout it.
would any of you know about an 88 i tryed to conect a fan by the front side marker wre thats where i got my power from when i turned it on it all just went out.?
dash, tail, climate, every light is out whats up with that?

You probably fried a wire somewhere, if not.. check ALL the fuses as is not always one fuse for everything. Also check relays and other stuff like that.

I appreciate the input - thanks!
I am having the same problem. However last night when i was installing fog lights i removed the vent panel on the driver's side and noticed a loose/disconnected wire behind the dimmer switch. I am guessing that's what's causing mine to go out. I didn't bother looking into it much. I think i remember it was a green wire. I will probably take another look at it over the weekend.
Well I have the same problem here, but I know it was my fault. When I was installing my reverse glow gauges I must have shorted out my lights when I was trying to find a power source for the gauges. I also got the good ol airbag light as a reminder of my tinkering. I'm too lazy to look up how to get rid of it.
But on the plus side my gauges look great!!!
