i need to get the hood flush with the headlights before i paint it.

and yes, I was too lazy to fabricate the stock latch into the fiberglass hood support (and didn't think that the glass would hold up all that well trying to shut the hood on a latch) so I just got rid of the latch, glassed over where it had been, and then just got some pins.
