4age Rod Bearing problem

I have a 20v SilverTop and I was in the process of building it up but when I got to the rod bearings I notice there was NO color mark on the bearings like most engines. I have been told by some people that the 4ag's did not have color marks on them, they had numbers stamped on them instead.

Is this true?? And where would you recommend buying the bearings (complete kit)??

if your talking about the size indexing marks yes they should have a 1,2or3 stamped on the back of them. If you bought cheap aftermarket ones they will be a 1 size fits all variety. If the crank is used or if you've done anything to the crankshaft then those numbers are useless anyway. Use plastigage to check the clearances regardless
