Axles for jdm AE92 E51

I bought a JDM ae92 4agze engine package awhile back and used the engine for my turbo MR2 project. The fwd E51 non-lsd tranny that came with the package is currently gathering dust.

Is there a source for axles for these transissions? Are there axles from other cars that could be adapted to work?

Also, is there a market for these in the Corolla world, or is it a boat anchor?

if it's a non LSD unit then the axles from an s/c mr2 should be the same.

True, but I'm having a tough time finding any. I was hoping there was an alternative

nope.

they're tough to find. I had to pay quite a bit (but i also had to pay for a tranny and shipping) for the axles I ended up with. Toyota wanted $550 PER SIDE, which didn't include the stubby shafts that go into the tranny and they weren't sure they could get them. It took me about 2 months to find what i needed.

c/v joints from a SW21 (MK2 MR2) are said to fit as well

um, i believe that isn't quite true. The output shaft on the tranny is the same, however the outer spline shafts for the hubs are different, and i believe they are different lengths as well.
