Most auto parts stores will carry replacement mufflers for about $50-60, and they will put a decent warranty on them, too.
You could also spend a little more on a stainless muffler and never have to worry about replacing it again (the pipe is a different story, though). I've got a $100 G-Spec muffler on my AE92 and it has a lifetime warranty and it sounds pretty sweet (I also have a 24" pre-resonator to help it out).
Or, you could go ghetto and for about $15-20 you could get a Turbo muffler or a Cherry Bomb from Meijer, but the Cherry Bomb might not be legal in your area.

What is a Cherry Bomb??
Is it those little things that look like a cherry but you can light it up and it blows up?? Why would anyone want to put that in their exhaust system??

no, cherry bombs look like fat resonators, but are red and used for an exhaust. you'll find them usually on domestics. go to cdn tire and look at their displays, they should have something like that for viewing
