'03 Corolla Catalytic Converter replaced.....

....and now when the car is driven, it smells like something is burning. I cannot pin point the location of the smell, but I imagine it is coming from the exhaust and it's pungent. The dealer replaced the converter yesterday (it was still under warranty, car has 68,000 miles) and I plan on calling them today to ask their thoughts on the matter. Any guesses on what it could be? Thanks for your help.

I'm like 99% Sure it's the shit they use as a gasket. My car smelled smiliar everytime I had exhaust work done..shitty I know..but It should subside within a few days at the most. It's jsut gotta burn all the excess shit I believe.

You know, that was my initial thought. We'll see what happens after a few days. Thanks for your reply.
