I was visiting the family for Christmas and took a drive out to my old favorite scrap yard in Guelph this week...they have two GT-S's (both '89s). I was busy pulling struts and fenders and the like, but I noticed that one of the cars has a new-ish looking red-top head. The car obviously didn't run, but the head had been painted red when rebuilt and there was only minimal oil-dirt on it. If anyone is even remotely interested, try calling Nicklin Auto at (519) 822-0301.
There are also several SR5 AE92s at the yard, and between all of them there should be parts aplenty for all of your needs.
Hope this helps someone!

Honda my A$$, you just can't kill a Yota...
If you're not sure how to get there, try using Mapquest. Here's a few tips on directions, though.
From the 401 take Highway 6 North towards Guelph.
When you reach Stone Road (you'll see the University of Guelph on the North-East corner), take a right turn.
Drive two stoplights and make a left turn on Victoria Road.
As far as I can remember, Eastview Road will be the fifth set of lights along Victoria; make a right on Eastview (actually, you can't make a left, it's a T-intersection).
Take Eastview out of town (you'll go through a stop sign on the outskirts of town).
You absolutely cannot miss the yard...it's surrounded by farms and as you come over the hill it's on the left. Now, to explain where the cars are...
The GT-S with the newish-looking head is waaaaaayyyyy at the back. It's a good five minute walk, and you have to pass the mountain of gas tanks to get to it. There are also two red SR5s back there. The other black GT-S is near the front of the yard, in the middle...just keep looking.
I hope you find what you need, these cars are getting really hard to find. (If anyone knows of a good yard in Northern Ontario, please let me know. Thunder Bay is sad for GT-Ss).

now ren, there is nothing wrong with cleaning your engine compartment. Thinkin of takin mine to toyota and getting the highest lvl of detaling, they wash the engine compartment and such. It's not that bad but it would look nice even cleaner
I got my header from a gt-s with a "custom" red cluster area(you know where the gauges are) he painted it red in a grey interior and had a few other "custom" peices hahaha. Oh yea not to mention I saw a red gt-s back in the fall with a huge gt wannabe spoiler painted red hahahaha.
Sorry guys, I didn't mean to mislead anyone by posting that (Ren, you make a good point). I'm painfully aware of the folks out there who like to mask old as new (baffling, 'cuz it's the opposite effect of driving a "sleeper").
However the car, though rusty, was in pretty good shape (newer calipers, aftermarket fenders, new struts, vacuum lines, distributer, you get the point). The tank was still in the car, and I've found that the guys in the yard might be willing to let you fire the car up if they think you're serious about spending a few hunnerd bux on the block/head.
BTW, has anyone been to Standard Auto Wreckers in Ajax lately? I haven't been there in awhile, wondering how their stock is lookin'.

Ajax?? you mean Scarbo-ruff I was there maybe about late November early December, they had 1 SR5 and that was it.
Only place in Ajax I know is PS Auto-Wreckers but I stopped going there after they wouldn't let you go in and actually look before you buy, since they take everything off themselves. You couldn't even go and point out what you wanted.. well I would go there a lot before so the one lady would let me go in.. but some of the other people wouldn't let me.
I'm kinda particular too. Actually, I won't buy from a yard that wants to pull the parts for me...case in point: I just replaced the LH fender on the Corolla last night and it took over an hour because the jacka$$ who pulled it for me (a long time ago) bent the front sub-frame of the fender. It looked like he just yanked till everything snapped-off.
Stick to places that let you pull your own stuff (as long as you have the time) and you'll save a lot of time and money. A&P Auto Wreckers on Main St in Cambridge, Nicklin in Guelph, Standard in Scarberia (used to be good), Dom's waaaaay out East past Oshawa. These places will let you pull the parts yourself, and when you're working on a new problem you've never had before (eg: heater core) it helps to see how the scrap car comes apart before you start on your own vehicle. It's also waaay cheaper.
