what tranny to use for 18rg....

well i dont have the 18rg yet... but i was wondering what tranny to use with it if i were to swap it into my 1982 te72 corolla..... what first popped into my mind was using a ae86 gts tranny and rearend..... but i need help with this info.

probably a W50 from a Celica/Supra, that's what the AE86 guys always upgrade to from their T50s.

That W50 would be coming from the early 80's Celicas which actually came with 22RE's (get it? R motor as in 18R, 22R, 22RE ?? )
