removing "VE" emblem

how do i remove the "VE" emblem on my trunk?

Leave it out in the sun or head it up with a hair dryer. Then take some dental floss and slide it behind the badge. Should come off. Remove any remaining residue with Goo Gone. Wax over the area.

You are warned that depending on the age of the vehicle, the part under the badge might be different color due to fading ffrom exposure to the sun on the rest of the car.

It would be easier if you had a heat gun. If you are doing this to the '99 in your sig than listen to touringcamry....the color WILL be different

thanks guys, just did it..well i used a hair dryer and thread..lol..but it wordek perfectly..oh and wd40 works well to get the residue off so i used that..doesnt/didnt harm my paint..and the paint is fine..still matches my car paint..but even if i didnt, the reason i wanted to take of the VE was to make room for the / / T l2 D emblem i just bought on ebay for 99 cents

Wow, really? didn't mess ur paint and leave a white residue mark?? mine left a white residue and no matter how hard i scrubbed or buff it, it will not go away, i had to pay a shop to paint my entire trunk

the wd40 did that? wow..well when i bought the car it had all these bumper stickers so i used wd40 to soak the stickers..came right off after that so i figured it was the same thing with the emblem glue..and it was! thanks to everyone for the input!
