Shocks and springs advice needed.

My friend will be leaving his Corolla for three weeks with me. He also asked me to change the shocks and springs because the car feels bouncy and floaty. He doesnt want a really stiff setup and still wants to have the comfort, yet also have a nimble ride. What shocks and springs setup should i go for? How much and where can i get it? Budget is also a concern for him, and we want something thats reasonable yet good.
I live in the Los Angeles area, so if anybody knows a good store let me know. Otherwise, i'll order online. Thanks!

There's tons of people from the LA area on Club4AG, you might want to ask around there for good shops. I haven't done any suspension shopping yet so I'm not too sure of everything out there. If I were you I would just phone all the places you can and get product information and prices and do some research on the web and you should be able to find a set-up that will fit your friends needs.
