Anybody had any problems with their clutch slave cylinder before?

Is this a big job?

the slave cyl is around 50$ from crappy tire, it is made by wagner and it is a pretty good deal, esp compared to the dealer.

it is simple to install
take the connecting pipe off the old slave, it is close to the passenger side steering arm, just above it on the bell housing. so now the system will be relieved of pressure. now the slave cyl is held on with 2 12 mm hex bolts,.. remove both and the slave will just come free, with the piston plunger nestled in clutch release arm.
slot the new one in, and this time, HOOK UP THE tube to the cyc first, then bolt it to the bell housing. make sure the hose doesn't get stripped going into the slave, or you will be verry sorry. but make sure it is tight enough so it doesn't leak.
bleed the system and see if it hold up. if not then it is your master cyl..

any other questions feel free to ask!

i've done the master cylinder and the lengthiest process has to be bleeding the bitch on the bench before yo9u instal it...what a freeking pain!

the clutch, if on an 86, will require you too either drop the tranny or pull out the engine.
