89 Corolla SR5 Help

Ok so this may seem pretty lame, and i know JACK SHIZ about cars to start in the first place.

I recently notice my front drivers side headlight is out and i went to go get a new bulb, and was informed i needed to get the full lamp replacement or w/e.

I took off the outer covering to get to the light and theres a metal plate inbetween with 4 screws that need to be taken out.

Now this is an 89 and pretty abbused, and these scres are rusted out and they just rust and strip out. So i figured ill just break the plate and try to find a new one.

My question is.... Is there an eaiser way? If not where can i get this little plate?

any help appreciated.

Thanks

get a set of stripped screw remover bits for your drill and drill them out. Then go to Toyota and see if they have the screws and plate as a replacement.
