i was wondering what do you guys do for brakes upgrades?

I've heard- of some sort,
People Using RX-7 FC Calipers for their brakes? for their 4 piston calipers
has anyone tried this? or heard of it?

anyone use other parts for upgrades?
Steel brake lines, pads, etc?
and where to get them?

Steel braid brake lines are popular for killing the "squishy" feeling the brakes can have with old rubber hosing, look at the thread below on them to learn where to get them.

As for upgraded calipers, before investing all that time and money in a new set, you should really consider refurbishing your OEM ones. They seem to be quite good, and a refurbished set with some better pads may be all you really need, just remember no cross drilled pads, probably don't even need slotted ones.

bah..86 doesn't need 4 pot calipers...no power. just stick with oem and good pads, steel braided lines and cross drilled or slots....

might not need, but if you add more power maybe,

but its always idea of innovation.
just try and see what happens.

my thoery is its not just the power, but also the weight of the car..

the 86 is a pretty light car, maybe that's why there's not that much need for brake upgrades..?
