USA 03-04 H3 Fog light bulbs keep blowing

I have a question, does anyone else have a problem with using H3 "hyper white" type bulbs in their 03-04 fog lights ...Mine keep blowing out every month or less and are a pain to change, last night both blew ....I been paying about $25 a pair and I'm afraid to go to the real expensive ones if their going to do the same thing. My OEM'S (2 years) never blew out once but looks like shit under my Silverstar headlights...05's are lucky because they started using a 9006 bulb...Anyone else having this problem, if not what brand/bulbs are you guys using The bulbs are the right wattage 55W-12V ...thanks...Radd Guy...

Try using a bulb with a little bit higher wattage. I replaced the H4 on my headlights with super whites having the same rating and they lasted only a few weeks or so. Chaning the bulbs to a higher wattage solved the problem but they are draining the power out of my dash. Like my high beam indicator light in the gauge isn't as bright as it used to be.

aftemarket bulbs and our fogs dont do very well together... they are low and away from the engine bay so they arent as well protected from water and cold temeratures. That combined with a bad seal leads to a blown bulb...
