so just to clarify, which engine do you have, and which on eare you looking at getting? also depending on where you get the engine it might come with a tranny so that may be the way to go.

You're in Canada. So it's either a 7A or 4A in there. Yes, it'll fit. But if it's an auto, it's not going to get along too well with the 4A-GE.

4AFE and 7AFE are both 16 Valves so that doesn't help much, is it a 1.6(4AFE) or 1.8(obviously a 7AFE)??? as for the transmission fitting.. it will but I recall you have an Automatic car.. you might have issues with it, specially if you have an ECU for a manual. If you're swapping a 20V in an automatic car, make sure you have the auto ECU and transmission also. Your current transmission will work, I believe they're both similar but not the same. Don't quote me on that as I don't care too much about automatics.

the ae82 gts's and the aw11's came with auto & 4age's..... also, the 20V came with them as well

to top it off.... when the SC mr2 came out, the 4agze and auto trans combo made it the fastest production car 0-30mph EVER (back in 88.... doubt it's still true) and the manuals were slower down low

I don't care, 4age + auto seems like a waste. Takes most of the fun out of the driving them. I know the 20 v came with them I didn't know about the mr2
