A few 02 Corolla Questions

Hey everyone I'm new here and have a few questions, maybe my fellow Corolla drivers can shed some light on the problems and questions..first question

1.For a few months now, it used to happen rarely but now is becoming more frequent...heres the problem. When I pull up to a stop sign/light my car NORMALLY Idles at 600-650. I don't know if thats suppose to be normal so let me know. But sometimes its starts sputtering going between 450-650 and the lights will dim when it idles low like that and its would die but I kick it into neutral and give it some gas to save it. I don't know what the problem might be. Maybe ALT??? I have an Injen SRI installed. The batters is like 310 CCA and 150 LOAD. I don't know if that is a problem. I hope someone has a solution.

2. Is there anyway to hook up the indash 6 Disc CD-changer to an Aftermarket Stereo that has Input jacks??? Like a Converter I can buy?

3. Is 28 MPG good for a 2002???

mine idles a lil under 1000 rpm. Idles around 2500 when cold. I have a 2006 LE corolla and im averageing 29 MPG- 4 speed auto so 28 is good unless its manual.

Well I dunno why my car idles around 600 I figured it was the intake. Also I think the gas might be something to do with the filter. Not sure tho. I'm gonna try running some Jet fuel through the car see if anything helps.
