you can fit the 240 rear end but you'll be doing more fabrication. try getting a zenki rear end and just get an aftermarket LSD.

i dun think a corolla can just take off the diff cuz it comes with the axles. And the 240's diff is seperate from the axles. so u can't do it

i think what he meant was to use the whole 240 rear end and not just the axles. i've seen people using MOPAR rears, Hilux and other truck rear ends on a toyota so i don't see why he can't use it. he can't use the ae86 axles on a 240 diff though.

trigger... i'm using the zenki rear with OEM LSD from an AE86.

some clarification

yeah, OEM LSD is extremely rare in Canada, if you find one it was probably dealer installed, or brought up from the U.S.

Ebay is a popular place to get a used LSD from the states. T3 technotoytuning sell rebuild kits. For the OEM LSD you have to get Zenki for 84/85 models or Kouki for 86/87 models. The axles are different diameters between Zenki and Kouki, so as long as your axles match your LSD you are good to go.

The LSD diff. also requires shorter axles. You can just shorten your open diff axles about 6mm.

Like micro, I too run an OEM LSD, it came from the U.S. and I did the install myself, including shortening my axles with an angle grinder and cutting disk, then used a file to clean up the cuts. I've been running this setup for about 20,000km and no issues at all, even with 180+ WHP for the past 5-10k.
