So I was watching SpeedTV SCCA GT3 runoffs ...

When the pole man and his factory backed Celica had some motor issues. They popped the hood of this tube framed chasis to reveal a longitudinal 4AGE motor. Turns out he had a faulty spark plug wire. But anyway, I always wondered what was under the hood of that car. Now I can sleep easy :P

Hey Shane,
Pete Peterson was slaughtering everyone after they made him start from the back of the grid after the formation lap. It was insane how the engine sounded when it was in the pits with the TRD engineer opening up the throttles, the in car camera sounds were absolutely HORNY. I couldn't believe how he managed to literally pass 1/2 the field before completing the first lap either!

good eye shane, that valve cover + the piece covering the cam gears and timing belt gave it away

and yes..that engine note was just amaazzzzing

on a side note: i wonder if N2 86es can compete in GT class races.
