bulb part number

Hi

just registered on the forums...i dont own a corolla but have a quick question (yes i searched)

Does anyone know the part number for the license plate blub....i saw a newer looking corolla and the light bulb in the license plate was very bright....then i saw a new lexus and i belive it had the same bulb and it was very very bright

does anyone know the p/n for that bulb

Its a 5W type E wedge base bulb (clear)...The owners manual doesn't list a number and there's none on the bulb...When I replaced mine I took it to a parts store and they replaced it by sight(they had a drawer full of loose ones)...Call Toyota parts and ask I'm sure they could give you a number...The bulb cost me about 75 cents...Good Luck...Radd Guy...

Sorry....Welcome to the forum!!!!!....Your right about it being bright I have a rolled chrome license frame and when the light hits it sparkles like its lit up...lol...Radd Guy...

Thanks for the welcome I will be heading down to the dealer today..........i just hope the bulb is the same as on my srt4

these are hyper whites (less reliable tho) and essentially look exactly the same
