AE92 headlights..

How do I take them off??? is it the screws on the side of the light?? or does the whole assembly have to be taken off to pop the light out from behind??? :-? never had a pop up light car before!

there's four screws at the side of the lights...2 on left 2 on right.
after those screws are takin off, there should be 2 adjustment screw... unscrew them both and fiddle around so you can get the spring that attaches it....after that you'll know what to unscrew....the 4 screw on the bracket holds the 6056 light....

you planning on puttin H4 conversion on??? eh REN?

I figured it out.. yeah H4 conversion.. stupid thing didn't fit!! :x they were too thick, so when I put the aluminum bracket back on with the 4 screws on it, I had a gap of about half a centimiter from the holes on the bracket to the holes on the light assembly. :x so the screws won't reach.

Xenon has the same style though.. I don't know how his fit properly.. I wonder if he got a longer bracket, or I wonder if there is longer brackets that i can buy. :-? hmmm..

well.. I went to see if the guy gave me the wrong ones.. he said they're all the same... I think I have to shave down these 4 nips sticking out of the back of the headlight kit (i said nips ) but I don't really wanna mess the headlight itself.. my best bet the guy said was to get longer screws. I'm gonna try that at CT or Home Depot tomorrow, im gonna take out the screw and bring it in to match the thread.

BTW.. anyone know ahmed's (Xenon) cell #?? they're exactly the same ones he's got.. I wonder if he had the same problems.

Hey REN, I have the same Ractive ones you used. And yes, I did face the same problem, fortunetly the bracket that comes on the AE92 is flexible, so all you have to do is use longer screws and you're set.. There's a position that you'd have to have the housing in so you can mount it and all the holes will line-up..
I'm going to PM you my cell number, if you need me to help you install them, give me a shout...
