geo?

i know the geo prizms are similiar to the corollas, but what about the geo storm? what engine is in the geo storms? i believe they are at one time 1.6L and 1.8L, but it cant be the 4af and 7af because the geo storms made about 130-140 hp stock, anybody know? or should I try posting this in the camry or celica section? thanks

The Geo Storm is an Izuzu.

Yeah.. the Storm was the same as the Isuzu Impulse.

well, kind of

there are actually 2 motors that are in the isuzu stylus and the geo storm. There's an 8 valve or a 16 valve version. The 16V motor is quite similar to a bigport 4age - in fact, it has a system 90% identical to TVIS. Along with the pistons are almost interchangeable (less than 1mm difference in diameter).... i believe i still have one lying around the house somewhere

the later model impulse, however, all came with the 16V motor. There was a turbo model as well, which the car was an AWD car. The earlier impulses all had a (different) 8V motor, even the turbo's were 8v's
