AE92 fuel pump cut off switch?

i was wondering if it was possible and safe to put a switch in line with the fuel pump to shut it on/off? for a cheep assurance as to my car not being able to get stolen unless they actually tow the car away? any input will be appriciated. thanks in advance!

Take the rear seat out and you'll see a gray connector. That's for the fuel pump.

Now just find out what is power in those wires and hook up a switch between that wire. Or the ground wire will work too.

I'd use a relay to do it.
