Red face

Well first sir, you have to be more specific. there were 3 types of corollas built in 1985 these are;
Corolla Sport SR5 (comes with 4AC)*
Corolla Sport GT-S (comes with 4AGE)*
*Both of these cars were Rear Wheel Drive and came 2 door-Coupe, and 3 door-hatchback
there was also a 4 door corolla sedan (similiar to Chevrolet Nova, but not the big V8 kinda nova..which became the GEO PRIZM)
this car came with a 4AC as well, and there was a 5 door hatchback/notchback version aswell.

**Feel free to correct me anyone**

Ok.. so now you gotta be more specific as to whether it is FWD or RWD and we should be halfway there.

If it looks like the pic (minus the turbo of course) then you got a 4AGE.. if not then you got the 65hp super motor known as the 4AC.

Yes, but the pistons rods and crank are also different. Its not worth the trouble.

wuts the difference between the crank rods and pistons between the 2 and one of the reasons is the PO put like 5k into the motor and it would be a waste to just swap it and also the car hasnt arrived yet so im just wondering just incase it is the 4ac motor
