Canada de-bages corolla

Hey,

I was wondering how difficult it is to take off the corolla badge an replace it with an altis one. Is it a simple stick on or is it bolted. Please let me know and any advise for removing it.

05 corolla xrs

thanks

Simple. I did this about a month ago. All you need is some thin but strong thread, or fishing line, and a heat gun, or hair dryer that produces heat. Evil Corolla S is right, it will be easier on a hot day but I did it in the cold and it came out perfect. Aim the heat gun at the emblem that you want to remove for a couple of minutes, depends on how strong/hot your gun is, until warm/hot. What you want to do is melt away the glue or soften it basically. Then get your fishing line, or whatever, and slide it behind the emblem and use a "see-saw" motion gently applying pressure. Back and forth, etc. Eventually, if you do this correctly, the emblem will fall right off. I had minimal glue left over. I used wd40 and a towel. Hold the towel under the glue and spray/soak the glue with the wd40. Then carefully use a razor so peel the glue off. If done correctly, the razor will not hurt your paint. I removed all of my emblems in about 30 mins and did not scratch any of my paint using the razor. Hope this helps.
