ugh I hate when I ask questions like this and someone has to be a smartass, first of all I have NO money. Went back to school and I am broke. I messed around with the carb the other night and it seems to be running better but I want to do it properly. Besides right now I need to limit the power that enginehas because if it had more I would use it, and I don't need to go faster right now

Well I wasnt trying to sound like a smartass, but the AISIN carb is REALLY limiting, adjusting the mixtures screw only applies to idle. So you cant really limit high rpm unless you change the jettings.

Can you get jets and parts for the carbs?
Thats a big issue, if theres no support for the carbs leave them and get some webers from redline.

The long screw with the knob adjusts the idle speed.
The screw on the arm sounds like the dash-pot, which keeps the gas up for few seconds so that the engine wont stall on throttle shut-off.

So in essence, you didnt really adjust the carb at all.

from what i hear the jets and parts are interchangable with webber ones. how about the manifold and instillation ? how hard was it for you to install?

how do you install an aftermarket carb? thought they didn't use the stock vacume lines? which leaves me not knowing what to do with any of those lines
