Hello! I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My screen name is iffireno and I just bought a 2006 Toyota Corolla LE. It is impulse red with pebble beige interior. I have had it for a few days now and I just love it. The interior reminds me of a Lexus, and I love the headlights. The only things I am going to do to it will be to add door sills and fog lights. I will be asking you in the next few months on how to install fog lights on a LE.

Welcome to the forum....You could of had the S package for about the same price with foglight and trim, but you like the gray interior and the S only has black...Myself even if I had a choice I would take the black over the gray, the 06 S has a kick ass body look, but everyone to their own preference....nice car..good luck...Radd Guy...
Weeeeeel, I purchased this little jewel for a daily comutter. From Phily to Atlantic City...2 months later and due to budget cutbacks I was laid-off. I payed cash for the car, I drove it out of the showroom and it now only has 3,100 miles on it and sits in the garage most of the time. It's never even been in the rain and I'm the ONLY one thats been in it.
The car is mint condition and even has that new car smell...still.
Now (if) I didn't already own a Ford F250 Diesel, a Corvette, a Harley and a Boat...I would keep the car. It really is a pleasure to drive (I LOVE the fuel mileage)...but I've just got to much on my plate.
The bottom line is, I bought it for a reason and the reason is gone... so it must go.

I would reconsider selling that little gem. You never know with the job market as it is you might need it again for another commute. Since it is paid for....keep it....sell the Truck
I myself just ordered a Corolla LE Super White. I had to order it is because they do not have the options I want in Michigan. Go figure why they do not have cars on the lot with Traction control and Vehicle Stability control. That is a nice feature in the winter months. I have the same thing on my 2000 Park Avenue.
I got one of the first 06 Corolla S babies out of Cali - got the S because not only does the outside look nice and sporty with the spoiler and trim, but the interior being black all over is a HUGE bonus!
I rented a Corolla LE while in Atlanta a few months ago - only had about 5,000 miles and the beige interior was already all dirty and nasty - the beige floor mats were disgustingly dirty - yada yada yada. ALWAYS go with the dark interior if they offer it! Imagine that car at 50,000 miles

this seems to have turned into 3 threads. 1st two, welcome, enjoy the corollas and ecspecially the xrs. Last, tough selling the corolla but it sounds like you have more than enough to keep you busy. Enjoy the rest of your toys.
Insurance on (that) vehicle isn't really all that much. Everything I own including house is with Travelers Ins. so it's less.
Plus I need the Ins for test drives and the rare times I run the car. I put 100 miles on it last weekend...great car, but toooo many other toys.
someone said sell the Truck...no can do need a tow vehicle for the boat.
Anyone see the add on Cars.com?
