Whats then engine code of you current motor??

ae96?? never heard of that but i assume its just a 90 series corolla, if so that motor will bolt in and you should be able to use your current gearbox (if you need to).

Hard things

-Fueling (if your carberatored)
-Wiring (full loom and ECU would be best)
-auxileries (sp?) meaning alternator/PS pump etc.
Best to track down the 20v ones.

Heaps more little stuff, but i can't be bothered going through it.
More info would still be good.

-have you done anything like this before?
-Will you be doing it yourself?
-Whats your budget
-have you thought about brakes/suspension to deal with the extra power?

I think he meant AE86.. yes the 20V motors will work, but you will have to bang your firewall in to make room for the dizzy cap as it will stick out right into the firewall. You can also cut a hole in the firewall but not many people like to do it that way as it will screw up the rigidity of the body and frame.

Next time do a search on AE86 swaps dude.. this topic has been beaten more times than Tina Turner.

So how about the 16v red top. I just want a DOHC that will drop right in.

Then you want a RWD blue top, (came out factory in the good ae86's) As this has the RWD water housing already. If you do that your probably going to want a T50 gearbox (your will last a while, depending on how you treat it) and the diff (smae deal as gearbox) from a 4age powered car.

There are heaps of guides on the net showing the different ways to deal with the problems.

More details would be good.
