automatic trunk release conversion

has anyone with a manual trunk attempted and succeeded to install an automatic trunk release such as http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/REMOT...QQcmdZViewItem ?

im tired of having to turn my car off for my friends to get their stuff out of the trunk. it doesnt look very difficult..but things are never what they seem. what is the process in doing this?

So why do you have to turn your car off each time you pop your trunk

Do like I do.. I carry two sets of keys with me at ALL times for both.. correction.. ALL my cars, one main key chain with house keys, car keys, locker keys, garage, keys.. etc. The other a couple of keychains with the extra car keys. I always keep the extra sets in my pocket unless I really need it.

BTW, my girlfriend has a set of keys in her keychain for both my cars, and I have an extra set at my dad's house just in case he needs to move either of my cars when I keep one in his driveway. I know it sounds like a lot of keys but I rather pay $1.50 at walmart for a copy than $60-80 for a tow truck to open my door everytime I lock the keys in the car.

(woohoo!! post #8500!!!! )

Whoa! One learns something new everyday. Maybe it's just me, but i feel that a trunk lever should be standard.

If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?
