how much?

how much would you say a 4a-ge with tranny is worth. the milage is 149940. a guy at work is offering me $350. should i sell?

They're not much dude.. if you buy it from someone that knows, you'll pay in my area about $100 - $150. Even the 20V 4AGE 5spd tranny's are selling for $100 down here.. CANADIAN too, so like $75 US.

Are you buying it or selling it??? if you're selling it.. $350 you'll be ripping him off basically, but I guess he'll never know.

Rob_277... the T50 tranny alone is worth at least $150-200 if there's no grinds and in perfect working condition. the complete motor including uncut wiring harness should be at least $250. i'd say sell for $450 and if the guy squeezes you go to $400.

FYI: AE86 T50 trannys are more expensive than the FWD trannys in general.

Yeah.. should've been more specific. The RWD T50s fetch a lot more than the C5X FWD transmissions.

BTW in my first post I was talking about the transmission alone for $100 and I was thinking you were selling the transmission ONLY for $350. Motor and Tranny for $350 US is not a bad deal.
