Have anyone else got the same problem as I have. My 93 corolla 1.6 wagon just dies when I turn to the left and accelerate. I have tryed with empty or full tank, but its the same problem.
I hope someone have solved this!
Had this problem a looong time ago, it ended up being the catalytic converter. It was plugged just enough to piss off the motor in turns but not enough to draw from the power of the motor. but it could be a bad PS rack as well.

Does the car just stall out? Or does it lose power but keep running? There could be a tear in your intake tubing that pulls open when the motor leans over under load, especially if it has a bad motor mount. (My 84 camry stalled everytime you came to a complete stop for a while becuase of that.)
Have you checked your oil? The oil could be sloshing to one side of the pan and starving the pick-up, especially if your oil is low.

I remember hearing something like this on Dorikaze.com someone was having the same problem with their 4AGE on their AE86 and I think it turned out to be oil getting into the intake during turns. I believe this is what "Oil Catch Cans" are made for.
It s injection engine, and its cuts off only when taking 90 degree left turn and accelerate at the same time. It cuts immediatly, like an electric cut, but no varning lights or drops in tachometer occurs.
If i Don``t accelerate its not occurs. Low or full tank is the same. Emission is alright, so i don`t think that the catalytic converter fails. Power steering is ok, I dosent feel any failure in it.
Maybe something is loose like previous stated. Open the hood and see if stuff will move around or not. If you suspect something is loose, start the car and check to see if it's loose. If it's the problem, the car will stall or die whatever
