heres the scoop, ive been looking around at cars but i can't get much for $10K that wouldn't be just as many hastles.
I just managed to sort out my 80 KM/h shake mystery (passenger CV axle)
My logic is i can keep this car running for nothing, lots of scrap cars to plunder for parts and i know the car inside out so its easy to fix. Im just slowly gonna work through the stuff and give it some fresh paint and rekindle her back like new.

you can't find much for under $10K that wouldn't be a hassle???
if you're just looking for a simple car that you can be mindless about there's tons of 90's cars you can buy that are good reliable cars
if you're looking for performance..... turbo rx7's, turbo mr2's, s/c mr2's, older turbo subaru's, etc.... there's tons of options for $10,000 and under !!!!!

Your car reminds me of a Corolla my buddy bought from an Auction in North York a few years ago, it was a US car and it was the same colour, 5spd and all. Had to drive it for him from the auction lot because he bought it for his mom without realizing it was standard. They ended up trading it in for a 2001 Corolla and lost no money on it.
man, you must be in a high market or something.
I got my 97 dx with 37000 miles on it for 7 grand back in 03.
You should be able to find a wide variety of autos in that price range.
Yeah i think we should consider Currency im talking CAD, anyways I have looked at probably 2 dozen different cars and i havent found much.. theyve been in accidents and either don't run all that great or are dirty scratched up/messed up cars.
Specifically im looking for a smallish wagon like a Subaru TS wagon, Matrix, Mazda Protege5 here in lies the problem there all too new to have a low enough price for a decent car, and the ones with a low price are rather rough.
For now im gonna rock it in the Rolla! besides i don't particularly wanna pay for a car for the next 5 years....

sounds good man, but definitely save for a new car when you can bro, a turboed car is hard to maintenance, especially if you're gonna use it for daily driven and it has high mileage, save up in the future and get a nicer car when ya can

Well the SE-R I was referring to is clean title, never been in an accident
I also helped my cousin find a 2002 Protege 5 auto with 60k on it (also clean title) for $7700 US.
Just keep your eyes open on local ads, online ads, ebay (for cars that are local), etc. When you don't rush to find a car, cars find you for some reason
