Just got into a car accident with my 05 Corolla S :*(

Can anyone give me an estimate of how much it should cost to completely replace the hood, front bumper and the side panel (above the left front wheel) with Toyota stocked parts? I have to take it to a car body shop tomorrow so I want an idea of how much it would cost in order to make a comparison. Please give me your best guess!

Thanks in advance!

i wouldn't know... you should get a professional estimate, there's no way anyone could really determine the extent of the damage without at least seeing it. I don't think they charge you to give an estimate...

but either way.. that sucks, sorry to hear that. I have the same car so i know i would be totally upset

whose fault was the accident? or was it only your car? how did it happen?

Unpainted parts:
Hood - ~$225
Bumper - ~$200
Fender - ~$150

After paint total: You're probably looking at around $600 to $700. But thats just my estimate. You should have a shop give you a proper estimate because they charge differently for labor, they may get discounts on parts, etc.

After paint? Damn, I have to know where you get parts painted!

For a new hood, new bumper, new fender, plus paint, plus all the parts you don't see that are damaged I'd estimate a good $1500 easy.

But yah, just go to a body shop. Estimates are free!

I got into an accident in November in my Corrolla and I had 2 estimates for passenger side damage. One was from my local Toyota dealer and it was cheaper than the auto body shop. The cost to replace front passenger door and to fix the back passenger door was $2100, that was the high and $1300 from the dealer. The hood is gonna cost ya, just to give you a heads up. I didn't cause the accident, so I took the high estimate, the lady that hit me lied to the police, so I was mad at her and wanted her insurance rate to go up ......I love my car.

Dag-Nab-it....that is irritating as hell. They never are the same no matter how good the fix-it job is. Make sure you get a 4 wheel alignment out of it too.
