AE92 Lowering springs

Hey everyone,

Havent posted for a while since the car has been wrecked but Im slowly rebuilding it back. But I want to upgrade my suspension from the coilovers I have now. I was just wondering if 93-97 suspension and ae92 sr5 will match up? Thanks

Your car is an SR5 right? I'd say go with with AE92 stuff as the AE101 won't match up properly. Either APEX, B+G or Eibach (1" drop). Stay away from Intrax or Suspension Techniques as they seem to get a lot of sagging according to people who have owned them.

I have APEX myself, 1.6" drop but probably lower after they settle down.

Yes you are correct it is the sr5. Is there much of a difference in height w/ the 1.6" drop? I just hate coming close to messing up the front when its to low and the bounce gets to me. So where can I get these springs and how much would they run me?? thanks for the reply

Let me refrase that.... SPRINGS will fit ANY AE92, the struts are different for the SR5/Sedan and GTS, as the GTS has front cartridges, but the rear struts are all the same.

1.6"? That's a lot isn't it? The Eibachs are only 1" drop, that's what I'm going with...

Unless you sell me your coilover setup

1.6" is not that bad, anything over 2" is overkill IMO, ricer style.
