Probably not. There's alot of marketing hype about that sort of thing.

just as i thought......

heaps of people been saying , yes you will gain more power with CAI but instead you'll gain very little and maybe NOT EVEN a single hp.

It will vary from car to car, and on the quality and design of the intake.
There are defiantly gains to be made, but I would say 2-3hp would be about average.

The only way is with a dyno run before and after, as I doubt you'll feel a "seat of the pants" gain.

I'm with Punter, 2 to maybe 4hp the most but not 15-20 like they claim it would gain.

The difference you will notice is the motor response, better air flow to the motor means the motor will rev up a little better.

Is Sportivo a 2ZZ GE model in Australia?? Right?? Atleast I think it is. Don't believe in people taking wild guesses out of the thin air. I cannot speak for every Toyota motor since the stock factory air intake designs vary from engine to engine with some more restrictive than the others, but if you do have it then apart from sounding great yes you can gain between 9 - 13 hp at the wheels (around 10 - 14 HP at the crank) depending on your city altitude from sea level. It is because the stock airbox on most of the 2ZZ models is too restrictive especially at high rpms. Do not believe me?? Check out the dyno charts at www.injen.com and check out Celica GTS or Matrix XRS (both of them have 2ZZ GE motors). You will see for yourself.

Personally speaking, I am getting Injen installed next month in April on my 2ZZ as well and my tech at the motorsports shop told me to expect around 8.5 - 9 whp and no more than that since I live close 3000 ft above sea level.
