I did a search and could find the info.
Awhile back someone posted a trick on how to move the driver's side sunvisor on an '05 without it hitting the rearview mirror when brought down.

Wouldn't it be easier to just pivot the mirror at the base of the windshield away from the driver's side?

don't you take it off it's resting place, slightly pull down as you turn it to the side window?

That can be done but why should we have to move and re-adjust the mirror everytime we put the visor down and back up?
I forced the rearview mirror arm attached to the windshield a little to the right with gentle pressure.
Readjusted the mirror and presto!.
Sunvisor has clearance when putting down and up..

Say has anyone heard of a Third Party Visor that has 2 visors? Like in luxery cars. I would like to install a visor that can be set to cover the corner of the drivers side seat to block the western sun. This make sense?

My parents own two luxury cars and neither of them has a 2-piece visor. Got a pic of what you mean, because I havent ever seen them.

No I don't have a picture. It is basicaly two visors in one. One is the main visor and the other is a little one. It is designed to have the main visor shift over to the drivers window to cover that while the little one works in front of the driver.

Real simple...

Never seen it.
One question tho, since the sun would be coming from the drivers side window, why would you need a visor pointing forward, when the sun isnt coming from that direction.

It covers the whole corner of the car. Where as the sun is going in and out of the front to side. That way they overlap each other. These are very common on a Buick and I know it is on the Avalon as well.

i had that on my 92 ford explorer also so its not a luxury thang thats for sure
