AE86 2 Questions

I am now a proud owner of a 1985 ae86 sr5.

But i have two problems.

First how wide can i go on wheels and what offset am i looking at?

Second I have the original 4 AC engine should tune the heck out of it or engine swap?

I would very much appreiciate any and all contructive comments.

I wouldn't bother tuning the 4AC, its a good motor but not good for tuning IMO.

Wheels.. a lot of guys are going with 7 or 8mm wide, offset probably 25 to 0 or even -5 but you won't be able to run negative offsets without fender flares.
