I have heard reports on another board that some of the 2003 Corolla's emit a bad sulfur like smell sometimes. Do any of you here have that same experience? Or is it a problem limited to a small group of people?
yah, in cold weather, my corolla's exhaust smells a bit odd.. dunno about it.. but I'm going back to the dealership tomorrow... hehe oil change time .. I let the toyota mechanics fix my car because they know what they are doing.. + pay the extra money here, the car will last longer
Incorrect. There IS something wrong and Toyota is aware of it, they just don't have a fix yet. On other forums Hondas, Nissans, and others have the same complaint.

You don't understand. The '03 Rollas that have the stinkies do it 100% of the time, not just when warming up. I grant you that most are rank until warmed up but this is something alltogether different. It usually goes along with poor mileage.
UPDATE I read on another forum that the dealer replaced the mass airflow sensor (MAF) on an offending 03 Rolla and it cured the problem. It may be worth mentioning this to the dealer because they are stumped too.
