Canada newly bought ae86

i just recently bought an ae86 gts and i wanted to put in a 4age 20v in replacement of a 4age 16 v. What items do i need to accomplish this and if this is on a precious board please tell me where, so that i may get some insight! i really want to do this swap! All my buddy's think it's an ugly car and so do i but it's and awesome drifter! I really want to dust their shi(t)vics so that they can shut their mouths!

you must be under 20yrs old dude..

There's a few 20V AE86s in the Toronto area, all you gotta do is come to the meets and chat with the guys that have done it to get some insight.

Also try the club4ag tech section www.club4ag.com they have a nice write-up on 20V swaps.

Last but not least, check out www.dorikaze.com its a canadian site dedicated to old school toyotas and specifically drifting and AE86s.

I think the AE86 is a beautiful car! They have the old skool flavor to them that you can never get with the civic. Even if it was from those years. Some good retro mods on them and they become pure gold.

Drifting doesn't make you turn faster, it's slower than a racing setup. Even a Blacktop 20v is a very powerful motor. While the car is very capable with an very responsive engine and an agile chassis, I don't see it dusting modded civics. I can guarantee that the AE86 will require a more skillful driver than the civic and it'll be hell of a funner to drive.
