4AGE - #SGE conversion

Does anyone know or has anyone done a swap from a 4AGe to a 3SGE into a COROLLA FWD and is it possible?.. with heavy, medium or light mods or is it a hack and scab job?

It's been done a few times before, lets just say it will be a lot of money and time as you need custom mounts, transmission and clutch setups, etc. I have not seen any writeups on this swap, but it's the best swap for the money if you want to upgrade any AEXX Corolla.

Yes it can be done, its been done, and no its not really that big of a hack job, only engine mount mods and some engine canting. But why settle for a 3S-GE when you can do a 3S-GTE.

Mike, its time for you to join the 3SGTE SP61 club. That way I can give your 20V a good home.

That's cuz you didn't have ECUs with them... harness I don't mind as I can get Ryan to do one up, but ECUs I'm considering it now as I'm gonna be selling some stuff, including but not 100% sure yet my 89 GTS.

BTW, did you sell them all?? (you had already sold the better one when I inquired )

i had 3 ECUs here before (2x) M/T and (1x) A/T. for the right price everything is for sale. ask Spencer, i sold him a hard to find *MINT* BT 20V ECU. if you were seriously looking before you could have asked. you do realize the longer you wait the harder those will come now right? the problem too is locals are too cheap to buy that's why the guys across the borders are the ones getting the deals from us. snooze you loose that's the name of the game. you'll still prolly find cheaper STs but who knows about the quality of the engine.
