Did you ever do any tweeking to the rear suspension? My dad showed up at work in my car with the suspension all fixed. He paid for it. He said the that the mechanics said that some one ****ed around with it. The the fact that my dad got it fixed without telling me when he knew I had an appiontment with another shop and paid for it leaves me some what suspicous. Oh, well. At least my suspension is fixed now. 8)

The only bad thing is my dad riced my car on me!?! He put the mother of all tail pipes on. That ****en bastard! It was funny when he did it to our van but not on my ride! : :evil:

And now I have to replace the water pump which I've been expecting to do any way. That means that I will have now replaced the entire cooling system. LOL! Hopefully this will put an end to the power loss problem otherwise I'm swapping in my spare.

i had the car before randy did, and i didn't mess around with anything besides changing the oil.. in addition, i didn't side swip the car either

nope, i never touched the rear suspension. .never had a problem with it..

if i were you, i'd get more info as to what your dad had done.. what does "it was fucked around with" mean? that doesn't tell me anything.. i'd be asking a hell of a lot of questions

What it means is that he was probably full of ****. Like I said I was suspicous of how he got it fixed when he knew I was going to take it to a mechanic that was out side of his web of friends. Not only that but he paid for the repairs. Originally I was going to have to pay for it if I brought it with in his little web. So he was probably covering his own *** cuz he would have been busted if I took it else where. Oh, well I don't really care any more. At least it is fixed now.

I'm going to try the water pump from my spare engine first. I'm just hopeing that it is not a 84-85 engine and is a 86-87. From what I've been told it is incompatable with the other 4A-GE engines. Thoe on Club 4AG I've been told that the water pumps may have problems if it is being swaped from a RWD 4A-GE to one that was equiped in a FWD GT-S. The info I got from there is all mixed. Every one said somthing slightly different.

What year 4A-GE is it from. If mine dosen't work out I'll be intrested so long as it was from a 88-89 engine.

To get rid of the tailpipe, try to get it to rust 'prematurely'...
